VALPARAISO VS CROWN POINT SOFTBALL SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
The Crown Point Bulldogs won a thriller against the Valparaiso Vikings in tonight's sectional championship game. The game was tied going into the 6th, but Marley Nagy's RBI double put the Vikes up 2-1. The Bulldogs never lost hope, and they managed to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th. Then with two outs, and two on, in the bottom of the 6th Brinkley Kita stepped up to the plate and blasted a 3-run, go-ahead homer to dead center field. Crown Point will take on Lake Central in the first round of the regional playoffs.
